My head is reeling-over here Ms. so and so is sick, over there Mr. so and so is dead, further down Ms. T has a family crisis, then not far behind comes Mr. P with financial woes.
Life is filled with problems, misery and heartache. Meanwhile the poor get poorer and the rich get richer.
Life more abundant. I know it exists, and I want it so badly for friends, family, loved ones.
Lord, help me to trust you. I know you are leading me somewhere. I know woven together a beautiful tapestry is in the making. The hurts, the disappointments, the dashed hopes and dreams, the unfulfilled longings, the desires, you know them all, and I know you care.
Civilization groans in misery. Humans try not to break under the strain.
And the cross stands as the answer to life's questionings.
We need you Lord, when no one else has answers. We need you, when no else can comfort. We need you when no one can compensate us for our losses. We need you when life is cruelly cut off and loved ones are torn apart.
We need you when mirth is in the past and reputations seemed forever damaged. We need you when life seems to have no rhyme nor reason.
We need you to make sense of it all.
Lord, we need you!
